Liz Jackson - Training & Development
Hi, I am Liz, one of the founders of Functional Fluency International. I first came across the Functional Fluency model back in 2014 whilst on a Foundation course in Educational Transactional Analysis (T.A). Drawn to it by its focus on the positive, the model quickly became a “go to” which I used in my work, both with teams and individuals, as well as in my own personal development.
At the National TA Conference in Edinburgh in 2015 I met Susannah Temple, the creator of the model and I was delighted when she became my supervisor and mentor. Under her guidance I began to incorporate Functional Fluency courses into schools’ workshops, as well as training mental health practitioners, counsellors and teachers.
I became a TIFF provider in 2016 and have found it has enriched my work with people from all walks of life. My particular passion is in using Functional Fluency to equip and empower young people and those who live or work with them, whether in educational settings or in the family.
Building on the work of Susannah Temple and her original supporters, Functional Fluency International is the product of enormous dedication, enthusiasm and courage on behalf of the team. At times exhilarating at times challenging, the journey has demanded much from us all but we have been spurred on by a common vision to see people grow and thrive.
Within the team I have been responsible for training and development.
