Having taught in a wide range of secondary schools for over 20 years, I am now a consultant working with English departments to improve their performance. The Functional Fluency model and TIFF are extremely useful in helping individuals to work more effectively to achieve their goals and to function as part of a team. Increasingly, teachers and other professionals have to work in pressurised environments and TIFF helps to provide some realism and focus in this situation, enabling them to make more efficient use of their finite resources. The holistic approach of TIFF, systematically examining all aspects of a person's behaviour patterns and the implications these have at home and at work are a fascinating element of working to develop solutions with clients.
