Barbara Troup

With a passion for science and business I have founded motionsquare (motion2), a consultancy network specialised in organisational consultancy with a strong focus on life science. Over the last 17 years I have worked as an organizational consultant in the areas of change management, team development, and leadership coaching.
My family and I live with our two cats and dog in Switzerland, in the “Drei-Länder-Eck” close to Germany and France.

After a scientific education (PhD in Biology) I started a career in the pharmaceutical industry with leadership experience in various international marketing and sales roles. When I founded my own business, my professional development included education in the areas of Systemic Organizational and Systemic Team Development, Business Coaching, Transactional Analysis, Functional Fluency, Appreciative Inquiry, INSIGHTS MDI®, and the Zürcher Resource Model (ZRM®).
As an Associate Professor at DHBW Lörrach/Germany, I am passionate about bridging theory with practice and developing the next generation of leaders.

What fascinates me about Functional Fluency is gaining a deeper understanding of the areas in which we demonstrate effective behaviour, what a „fluent“ behaviour is and how we can consciously strengthen and expand these areas to ensure that we keep asking ourselves: “Do I and others benefit?

As a certified TIFF provider, Functional Fluency will enrich and strengthen my approach when working with organisations, leaders and their teams. Supporting clients to move from intent to impact by gaining clarity and empower behavioural change.

The most common feedback I receive from my client is that I helped them to gain clarity.
