Carrie Cochran, LMFT
As a Trauma Informed Relationship Therapist, I help individuals and couples who struggle in their relationships. I love helping my clients understand how the way they are in relationships is influenced by their past experiences so they can use this knowledge to make a better future.
Because having a better relationship with yourself is the first step to having healthy relationships with others, I’ve introduced Functional Fluency and TIFF© to help guide the process. I see TIFF as an invaluable way to get to know yourself, inside and out. With this wisdom, it becomes possible to live a life that’s aligned with your values and your dreams.
A lot of good can come from a therapy or coaching session, but real change happens in daily life. This takes tools and Functional Fluency is one of them. Following the model is a simple and intuitive way to change the way you feel about yourself and behave with others, making relationships and the world around you better.
In addition to being a TIFF Provider, I’m also trained in EMDR and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which I incorporate in my work and are a big part of the other tools I share. I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the United States and have been practicing since 2011. I am energized by the work I do and inspired to see individuals and couples who have felt plagued by overwhelming stress, anxiety, loneliness, and conflict transform their lives and relationships into joyful and intimate experiences.
