AI meets AI: Artificial Intelligence and Affectionate Intelligence in conversation
Free for FFI Members
Can Artificial Intelligence support deep relational work without replacing what makes it human?
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly becoming part of everyday professional life. Tools that analyse information, generate ideas and summarise insights are increasingly used in coaching, leadership development and professional practice.
Many of us are curious. Some are enthusiastic. Others feel cautious. Most are somewhere in between.
Across our network, practitioners are already experimenting with AI in different ways. Some use it as a thinking partner when designing programmes or exploring strategies. Others use it to organise ideas, summarise research or reflect on complex relational situations. Many are also wondering how AI might influence their professional practice and the way they run their businesses.
At the same time, important questions are emerging.
Where can AI genuinely support reflection, learning and professional work?
Where might it increase efficiency without losing depth?
And where does the distinctly human quality of Affectionate Intelligence remain essential?
One colleague recently shared a story in her blog. After completing his TIFF profile, a managing director entered his results into an AI application. He appreciated the concise summary of his behavioural patterns.
Yet when reflecting on the experience, he said something striking:
“Our one-to-one conversation made me feel seen and met. The AI report was just a nutshell version of what we had already talked about.”
That moment highlights an important distinction.
Artificial Intelligence can generate insights.
Functional Fluency also relies on Affectionate Intelligence the quality of human presence, connection and relational awareness.
So what happens when AI meets AI?
In this 90 minute member to member workshop, we will explore together:
How practitioners are already experimenting with AI in their work and businesses
Where AI may support reflection, learning and professional practice
What must remain deeply human in Functional Fluency work
How our community wants to engage with AI going forward
This session is not about hype or fear. It is a space for curiosity, reflection and shared exploration.
Bring your experiments, your questions and your doubts.
