Before you can join a training to become a licenced TIFF provider, some prior basic training in Transactional Analysis is required.

This course, spread over two half-days and facilitated online by a certified FFI Trainer, provides basic knowledge of Transactional Analysis to people without prior TA experience and thus equips TA newbies to take part in the TIFF Provider Licensing Training. People with more TA knowledge have also found this course enriching.

Transformation stories

I did the TPLT because I wanted to be able to use an assessment tool founded in TA theory. The course has improved my confidence in talking about Functional Fluency and broader TA theory in coaching, educational and organisational settings. The buddy group gave great opportunities to practise, share ideas and gain mutual support. The supervision provided was invaluable throughout the process.

Excalibur Development

If you want to work with behaviours with your clients, the TIFF tool has great rigour and research behind it. Clients ‘get’ the Functional Fluency model and can access its value to their development immediately. It’s visually engaging and stimulates good dialogue. The language is easy to transfer into any setting, especially the workplace. The Functional Fluency International community is also passionate and engaging.

Kate Shaw

Sure Potential Limited

I particularly appreciated the attentiveness and commitment of the trainers and the supervision was invaluable. The course has helped me look at my own behaviour – when I act effectively and when I lose my energy. I have gained a valuable tool to work with professionally.

Extra information

The purpose of this workshop is to provide a practical overview of Transactional Analysis (TA) in order to acknowledge TA as a source of inspiration for the development of Functional Fluency (FF) and the Temple Index of Functional Fluency (TIFF©). The workshop enables attendees with no, or little, TA knowledge to meet the requirements for becoming a TIFF Provider.

The aim of the workshop is to offer an accurate, up to date snapshot of TA, both as a theory and as a practical approach to personal and professional development used in a variety of contexts, e.g. organisational, therapeutic, educational, coaching, parenting etc.

The lived experience of the workshop is designed to manifest the philosophy, principles and practice of Transactional Analysis.
